Most orders received by 12:00 P.M. EST will be shipped the same business day.  Express shipped orders (Xpresspost, Priority) received before 12 PM EST will receive priority and will ship the same day before all other ground shipments.  Orders received before 5 P.M. Eastern Standard time Monday-Friday ship out the next business day where we have all products in stock. In stock orders received after 5 P.M. Eastern Standard Time Monday-Friday may ship the following business day (i.e. the day after the next business day). In some cases, due to higher volume, it could take 1-3 days on very rare occasions before the order ships.  This typically occurs during the Christmas shopping season from November 1 to December 23.  You will receive an email notification the evening of the day when the order has shipped. If you have not received a shipping notification within 2 days after your order was placed, please contact us via email for an update on the status of your order. Where products are on back-order, we will ship them out to you as soon as we receive the product. Be aware that sometimes, products may not be available because they are new arrivals, being reprinted or out of print. In such cases, we will usually have the expected arrival date (if available) posted with the product. During the Christmas shopping season, we suggest that you plan for up to 10 business days of lead time to ensure that your Christmas orders arrive on time. Plan for an additional 5 days for orders shipping to remote locations including Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut, but also more remote locations in other provinces. These are generally further away from the major centres. If you would like to upgrade your shipping to XpressPost or Priority, prices are included in the list of shipping options. Be aware that we only have control over when we ship out orders.  We have absolutely no control over what happens after the shipping company has the package.  We provide the planning information only as an estimate to help your lead time expectations.  It is not unusual for there to be delays during the Christmas shopping season.
