Description

Shogi, (below, lower left) is the Japanese chess variant which is played on a 9 x 9 grid. It is unique in that most pieces can be promoted and captured pieces can be replayed. This internationalized version uses icons rather than Japanese characters. Playing pieces are double sided; promoted pieces are indicated by red (on the reverse sides). Rules are included.
